- 8 oz farfalle pasta
- 6 tbsp salted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 oz fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup pine nuts
Instructions
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter, sliced lemon, and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly browned; remove from heat and stir in another 2 tablespoons of butter.
- In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain using a colander.
- Add the hot, drained pasta to the skillet with the butter mixture and stir well.
- Stir in another 2 tablespoons of butter alongside the grated Parmesan cheese until slightly melted.
