  • 5 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 2 to 3 cups baby carrots
  • 1 small yellow onion (chopped)
  • 2 packages dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup (10 ounces each)
  • 1 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a large plastic bag, combine dry onion soup mix and paprika. Add beef stew meat and shake until well coated.
  2. Spread the coated meat in a greased crock pot. Layer with diced potatoes, baby carrots, and chopped onion.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cream of celery soup and ketchup; pour over the meat and vegetables.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours until the meat is tender and vegetables are cooked through.
