  • 1 ½ tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup salsa con queso
  • 3 8-inch flour or corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stirring well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Mix in the salsa con queso.
  4. Spray an 8-inch round baking tin with cooking spray.
  5. Layer one tortilla at the bottom, followed by a third of the beef mixture and then a third of the cheese. Repeat this process two more times, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
